The details

As a repeat client with a lakeside oasis and a vision for an addition big enough for their growing family to enjoy, they confided in Foremost Builders to assist them. It all began with the goal of converting the open foyer into a second-floor office while expanding the upstairs bedrooms. Our designers found a way to maximize the layout functionally, by adding space for grandkids to play and grow, along with creating a master suite designed for aging in place.

This expansion allowed room for a new Master Suite on the first floor complete with a large walk-in closet, separate laundry room and large master bathroom with walk-in shower. The upstairs gained an additional bedroom, bathroom, gym, and of course the office space. This home is sure to be a great spot for many more family memories to come!  

Features & Challenges Of The Project

• Complete demolition of existing 24’x22’ garage and connector between existing garage and main home
• Gut remodel of upstairs interior including primary bedroom and bathroom
• Added murphy bed to gym room above garage for additional guest sleeping quarters while saving space
• Addition of heat pumps for improved efficiency
• Bold paint and tiles to brighten up the space
